3d Printing
We can 3d print any jewellery design in a castable resin that is suitable for immediate casting via the lost wax casting process.
We are also able to 3d print masters that can then be used for repeated production runs for when you require multiple items the same.
We currently print at 20 microns, which is so fine it is difficult to see the individual layers without magnification. We can also print as low as 5 microns, but this is very rarely required.
With a typical 20 micron print of an engagement ring, the time can usually take between 12 to 16 hours to complete. Due to the time this takes, and to avoid bottle necks in our process, we currently run 4 printers in the workshop.
